    I have spent the last ten years researching the 1/5th Battalion South Lancashire Regiment in WW1. I can find very little by way of diaries or written contemporary material apart from a few items in the Queens Lancashire Museum and the local papers of the time and the Battalions War Diary. If anyone knows of any material that may help me complete this task can they please get in touch at briandavid44@btinternet.com
